After three years of intensive and demanding work, the DiMAT project is officially concluding its funded phase! It is with great pride that we announce the successful delivery of a powerful, lasting legacy for the European materials manufacturing sector.

We didn’t just meet our goals: We exceeded them, successfully launching the DiMAT Solutions Hub, a comprehensive digital innovation platform now fully poised to drive sustainability, efficiency, and competitiveness for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) across Europe.

Our mission: simplify the complex world of materials design, processing, and manufacturing by deploying cutting-edge simulation and modelling tools. The consortium’s relentless dedication has resulted in a wealth of achievements that will continue to benefit industry professionals:

The DiMAT Solutions Hub
The DiMAT Solutions Hub is a full digital ecosystem featuring 9 specialised toolkits organized across 3 integrated suites:

DiDAS (Data & Assessment Suite): For advanced data management and crucial Life Cycle Analysis (LCA).

DiMDS (Modeling & Design Suite): Bringing AI power to material design and property prediction.

DiSOS (Simulation & Optimisation Suite): Where you can run process simulations and implement a Digital Twin for real-time control.

Proven impact
The value of these tools is already clear. They have been rigorously validated in real-world pilot cases involving textiles, composites, and glass, demonstrating immediate value for industrial users.

Beyond the technology, we focused on building a community. Over the course of the project, we achieved massive engagement, including:

• 11 comprehensive workshops and 18 webinars.
• 9 podcast episodes and 53 instructional videos (all available on our YouTube channel!).
• An astounding 200K+ LinkedIn impressions, building a strong, engaged foundation for future tool adoption.

The conclusion of the funded phase marks a successful launch into the commercial future of the DiMAT platform.

The consortium is confident that the developed tools and expertise will continue to drive future innovation and commercial impact, bringing lasting benefit to the manufacturing sector for years to come.
