Call for Early Adopters

Join the DiMAT Early Adopters Program – Help Shape the Future of Digital Material Manufacturing!

The DiMAT Project is excited to open its Expression of Interest (EoI) for Early Adopters starting 17 December 2024, running until 21 February 2025.

This unique opportunity invites SMEs, scale-ups, and research organisations to test and engage with innovative open digital solutions designed for material manufacturing.

As part of Europe’s mission to achieve a greener and more digitally transformed future, DiMAT focuses on empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-caps with affordable tools to enhance material design, manufacturing processes, and sustainability efforts.

What is the DiMAT Early Adopters Program?

The Early Adopters Program is a collaborative initiative that provides selected organisations with:

  • Early Access to advanced digital solutions for materials science, design, simulation, and optimization.
  • Tailored Expert Support to explore tools, streamline workflows, and enhance digital transformation strategies.
  • Hands-On Testing opportunities to validate DiMAT tools for real-world business needs.
  • Influence over the development of tools by providing critical feedback to ensure usability, adaptability, and business impact.
  • Visibility through a dedicated article and recognition across DiMAT’s website and social media platforms.

Why Participate?

Organisations joining the program will gain exclusive benefits:

  • Access to State-of-the-Art Solutions: Explore tools for materials management, digital twins, AI-driven modeling, and lifecycle assessments.
  • Expert-Led Support: Collaborate with leading European experts in materials science, engineering, and manufacturing.
  • Shape the Future: Contribute feedback that drives tool improvements and ensures alignment with industry challenges.
  • Networking and Community: Connect with industry peers, researchers, and innovators as part of the DiMAT ecosystem.
  • Enhanced Innovation: Reduce costs, optimize processes, and improve sustainability outcomes.

Who Can Apply?

The DiMAT program targets:

– Material Manufacturing SMEs working in areas like: Materials science and engineering, Materials innovation and production, Environmental sustainability

– Scale-Ups advancing material manufacturing processes

– Research and Educational Organizations, such as universities and labs, working in material science and engineering.

– Industries include plastics (polymers), composites, glass, and graphite production.

Ideal candidates will have technical knowledge (medium to high) and the capability to assess both the functionality and business potential of the DiMAT tools.

Program Details

Selected organizations will engage in a 2-month fully remote program running from March to April 2025.

Activities include:

– Up to 3 hands-on demonstrations of DiMAT solutions

– Personalized 1-on-1 sessions with DiMAT experts to identify relevant tools

– Testing solutions with DiMAT support via three 1-hour meetings
